The UV Smartcure is a robust hand held battery-powered UV curing device developed using the decades of experience of curing paints of all types with UV & Infra-red lamps. It combines the latest UV LED technology. Constructed from a tough glass fibre filled polymer, the unit is fitted with a 3mm scratch solvent resistant tempered glass with a fibre reinforced frame to prevent damage, to the units high performance UV-LED. The electronics have been designed specifically for this unit and include an intuitive, user-friendly display that shows the battery level, run time & when the fan is running. They also include temperature sensors to guarantee that neither the electronics or LEDs, can overheat. The kit includes 2 high performance 18V Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (fast charge 45 minutes), 1 battery charger, 1 wall mount, & a pair of UV Safety glasses.

SmartCure comes with two exchangeable batteries and cures UV-A filler and primer in seconds, available for 365 nm/ 395 nm.

IRT UV SmartCure has an extremely powerful output, offering market leading peak/average light intensity.

By combining a powerful UV-LED-module, advanced cooling technology and light weight batteries, reliable, highly effective, non-fluctuating UV-curing is achieved.

Advanced electronics minimizes the risk of machine damage by active ventilation and by monitoring the temperature of both electronics and LED-module. This provides safe operation with efficient steady state voltage LED-output and current control regulation.

ULTIMATE CURING GUIDE
To obtain peak performance, work at appr 100 mm from surface. @ filler/primer thickness 80-120 µm, Ø 160 mm is cured in appr 10 sec. (Peak light intensity >350 mW/cm2, average >250 mW/m2).
