    Introducing ROAR 1010 Ceramic Quantum

Innovation has always been in our DNA, for over 11 years, we’ve taken a different path, focusing exclusively on surface finishing and pushing boundaries through fresh thinking and breakthrough technologies.

1010 Ceramic was the result of that mindset. An advanced compound that brings cutting-edge tech from outside the automotive world into ours, redefining what’s possible in surface finishing.

We believe in evolution, not revolution. Developing game-changing improvements without disrupting the customer’s trust.

After 24+ months of focused R&D and continuous refinement, we’re proud to unveil 1010-Q: Our new flagship compound, engineered to deliver performance on an entirely new level.

1010-Q Ceramic Quantum A true Halo product – built on next-gen technology

“Quantum: the smallest measurable unit of energy or matter.”

Quantum Abrasive Technology Featuring micro engineered alumina particulate for extreme cutting performance.

Massive Cut, Minimal Effort – Rapid defect removal without compromise.

Ultra-Clean Application Low dust and effortless wipe-off.

    • Easy handling

What is ROAR Ceramic Abrasive Technology?

Roar Ceramic Abrasive Technology is a completely new approach to the abrasive system used within the compound. To achieve a very fast cutting action there will always be a trade off for the achievable finish within one step. Ceramic abrasive enables us to provide a quicker cutting action but importantly retain an excellent finish.

Why use ROAR Ceramic Cut Compound?

As refinish systems evolve with ever changing compliancy and performance requirements, paint finishes are becoming more robust and scratch resistant. Sanding processes have become finer to aid the polishing process but previous compounds are nearing the end of their development cycle. ROAR took a new approach to achieve the next step of performance with the development of Ceramic Cut looking very much towards the future.

ROAR 880 Quality Control Liquid helps identify where needs further polishing, removing any ‘fillers’ that polishes have.

All compounds use Oil & Solvent lubricants (both solvent based and water based) to provide lubrication during the polishing process. These oils perceived as “fillers” can sometimes be left behind and disguise the sanded area after polishing. Once the oils are washed away the scratch reappears, this is sometimes called “sinkage” but ultimately can only occur due to under cured paint or Insufficient polishing. This can cause a headache for the body shop so ROAR have developed a special blend of paint friendly surfactants to remove these lubricants and identify any areas that need further polishing prior to its final inspection:

    • Bespoke Formulation
    • Effectively remove contaminants
    • Significantly reduce potential rework
    • Increase profitability
    • Enhance reputation and customer satisfaction

ROAR 1030 Ultra Fine Finish – Hologram Removal

    • Contains sub micron abrasives to help eliminate swirls and holograms
    • Designed for all paint systems including the latest UHS and SR finishes
    • Recommended for darker colours to help achieve an optically perfect finish
    • Designed to be easily buffed and wiped for rapid final finishing

Recommend use with ROAR 6″ Waffle Black Foam

    Directions For use:

    1. Add suitable amount of compound approximately the size of a thumb to the paint surface.

    2. Before starting the machine, spread the compound evenly with the applicator pad to reduce excessive waste.

    3. Initially start the polishing machine at low speed then increase to 1500rpm – 2000rpm .

    4. For best results move the machine in one direction with a 50% overlap then repeat in the opposite direction.

    5. Wipe clean with edgeless finishing cloth. On fresh paint don’t allow the product to dry whilst machine polishing.
